Meet us! The Hessee Crew
My name is Maelynn and my husband, Ryan, and I have been married for 13yrs. We have 3 beautiful kids that keep us pretty busy. Our love for Boxers began right after we got married. I told my husband I wanted a golden retriever and three months into our marriage he brought home Thor, our first boxer. It was love at first sight! Two years later, we added Nikita to our little family. From there, the rest is pretty much history!
We are not your normal breeder. Our mission at Heritage Boxers is to provide health tested, well socialized boxer puppies with dynamic pedigrees that include multigenerational international champions. All puppies are AKC registered, from European and American pedigrees. Bred to preserve, protect, and better the breed for both show and family homes. With now almost 13 years of experience, we have learned a lot and continue to educate ourselves.

Meet Thor:
The boy that started it all in 2011 (MMXI for those of you wondering on the logo). Thor is everything anyone would ever want in a dog. He is fiercely loyal, playful, loving, and takes pride in watching over "his" family. Thor is 100% American Boxer, AKC registered. He is now retired. His legacy lives on through Pepper, our beautiful flashy brindle girl we kept from Thor's last litter. You can read more information on her below.
As of December 2020, Thor is no longer with us. He will always and forever carry a special place in our hearts. We are so incredibly thankful for all the countless amazing memories he gave our family.
He will forever hold the place of "my first dog" to all of our kids.

Meet Nikita:
If Thor was a rock, Nikita would be the ocean; wild and free! She is free spirited and fun loving, but as gentle as they come. We shipped in Nikita to be with our family in 2013 and she fit right in! She is a 50% Euro AKC Boxer. This girl LOVES being a momma. She thrives when she is pregnant and is a devoted mother to her litters. Her love for our children when they were little was evident each evening when she would cozy up and cuddle with them. Now, they lead her around all over our farm. Nikita is the mother of Pepper, who you can read about below. As of 2019, Nikita is retired and is enjoying every second of it. |

Meet Pepper:
This girl is about as beautiful as they come! Pepper got the best from both her mom (Nikita) and her dad (Thor). She is 25% Euro and 75% American Boxer, AKC registered. Pepper is always looking for someone to play with, yet completely content to lay at your feet when it is time to settle down. Her brindle coloring and structure is what boxer "dreams" are made of. We are so excited to watch her grow and mature with plans to use her to protect the boxer heritage as a future momma. |

Meet Lady Duchess: This brown-eyed, reverse brindle girl will steal your heart. She is 75% European and her pedigree is stacked with multiple international champions. Duchess has had her EKG testing, and Holter Monitoring both through Mizzou Collage of Veterinary Medicine. She is also double negative for ARVC and DM. |
Meet Wynter Wonder:
Fun, flashy and fawn! Wynter will wiggle her way into your lap and heart. She is 50% European Boxer with international and national champions on both sides of her incredibly impressive pedigree. We are excited to watch her grow. There is so much more to come with this little feisty doll! Wynter is ARVC negative.
Meet Saint Belvedere:
This guy looks like a beast, but is truly just a giant puppy. Saint is the youngest and newest addition to our family. He is 100% Euro Boxer with a black mask and no flash except for a tiny flash on his chest. His parents were direct imports from Germany. Saint has such a playful personality, but incredibly loyal and protective. We are so excited to for the amazing future this guy has in store! Saint is double negative for ARVC and DM.

Meet Heritage's Southern Sunday or "Sunny":
This little girl changed the trajectory of Heritage Boxers as she now is our 3rd generation. Daughter of Pepper and Saint she is also the Granddaughter of Nikita and Thor. We could not be more in love with this little Flashy Doll! |

Meet Heritage's Lady Lolli:
Lolli, Lolli LOLLI! She is the daughter of Saint and Duchess from 2022. She is a very dark reverse brindle, just like her momma... but her personality, is just like her dad. Lolli is full of life! Always looking for an adventure! She is 85% Euro and 15% American Boxer. Love you bunches Little Lady Lollipop.
Lolli, Lolli LOLLI! She is the daughter of Saint and Duchess from 2022. She is a very dark reverse brindle, just like her momma... but her personality, is just like her dad. Lolli is full of life! Always looking for an adventure! She is 85% Euro and 15% American Boxer. Love you bunches Little Lady Lollipop.
Meet Maverick:
Mav is the newest addition to the HB family! He is 100% Euro and is a direct import from Montenegro. This guy is a giant teddybear! He is absolutely huge both in heart and in paws. He is OFA clear on both his hips and elbows. He has also had Holter monitoring and EKG testing along with being both double negative for ARVC and DM. He is a traditional brindle with a black mask and paws.
